Bursting discs by GMI.

Bursting discs

The GMI bursting disc is a pressure relief safety device. It is designed to operate by bursting the disc, either by explosion or implosion. It is a single-use device because its operation is self-destructive. It is custom-made for your application.

Flat Composite rupture discs

flat composite rupture discs Construction : Between 2 laser-cut metal foils lies a PTFE sealing diaphragm.

Sizes : DN25 ā DN600
Materials : Graphite
Performance Tolerance : +/- 10%
-Internal vacuum support
-Fully PTFE coated on process side
-Bi-directionnal disc
-Signal transmitter
The following criteria determine how our bursting discs are made: -maximum operating pressure -bursting pressure -fluid conveyed -operating temperature -flow to be drained -any pulsating flow -presence or absence of vacuum in the installation -whether or not the disc is non-fragmenting -disc material -connection method.
