Butterfly valves

The GMI butterfly valve is a HIGH-PERFORMANCE valve whose disc rotates about an axis perpendicular to the direction of flow. When it is in the 'open' position, fluid flows around it. There are two types: butterfly valves with metal/metal bearing surfaces, and those with flexible bearing surfaces.
